Shanene Sathoo
Founder
Born and brought up in a small community of Durban. I have 3 little toddlers of my own whom I adore and love unconditionally.
Bread of life foundation was established with the vision of opening a baby home for abandoned babies, assisting the underprivileged with skills development as well as humanitarian need.
My vision is to see orphans and vulnerable youth being productive through quality education and skills development. Our services offered are supported by a Wealth of knowledge and experience with love, care and dedication.
My dream is to break the cycle of poverty in South Africa and create leaders whom will make a difference to society.
Karen Munsami
From an early age, service to mankind was of paramount importance in the Munsami household and is what convinced me to join the BOLF team in July 2022. The vision and goals of BOLF are strongly aligned to my own belief system and my hope is that we can do significant good in the world. Having worked in multiple industries across supply chain, telecommunications and e-commerce, my hope is that I can use my corporate experience to help move the foundation forward to achieve its goals. This is a relatable mission which is on the verge of doing truly impactful work.
Nandha Gounden Director
Born into a poor family and raised by a single parent. I have practical experience to relate to the challenges and peer pressure the youth of today will mean losing a future community. As a church deacon, marriage officer, commissioner of oaths and council member in other community based organisation will enable me to partnership with the BOLF team, to realise the vision and mission of the foundation within its parameters to improve and impact the lives of people.
Zanele Dlamini Crisis mother
I have been at Redwood College for approximately 16 years where I filled various positions from teacher assistant to aftercare assistant and most recently, aftercare supervisor. From an early age working with kids from all ages is a passion since I myself is a mother of 2 beautiful kids. I believe that we have alot to offer the world and not just for ourselves. I believe that every child born is a gift from God, no matter the colour, creed, race, or gender. I am grateful I get to put my passion, time, effort, love and care in to the The Catherines baby Home. I am hoping that with one baby at a time we can save the next generation in our country.
