Catherines baby home

• One of our major goals is to open a baby home in Verulam, KZN
• There has been a drastic increase in the number of number of babies being abandoned or orphaned
• Our baby home will be a place of safety, where love & care will be provided to each baby
• Our baby home is a place where we will nurture and care for these precious babies until they are placed with their adoptive, forever families or biological families
• We have been strived to make a change in our community with a mission to create a platform which will give mothers or soon-to-be mothers the space to speak up & seek the necessary counselling
• We strive to create a safe and loving home environment for our babies to grow & thrive in

Outreach projects

• Bread of life foundation is involved in various outreach projects
• These projects include providing food, essential goods to disadvantaged communities
• Providing relief to flood victims by distributing blankets, mattresses, cooked meals, water, and clothing
• We also supply sanitary products to South African school girls who are unable to afford these items
• Feeding schemes providing monthly food parcels to hundreds of families struggling with the primary challenges of food insecurity

Bread drive (food for the body, nurture for the soul)

• Distribution of bread to the poorest and most marginalised in our community
• Our hearts go out to the poverty-stricken communities who live in crowded shacks, without the luxury of self-isolation
• Many individuals immune systems have been weakened my malnutrition, TB, HIV/Aids. Bread is a stable source of food
• Our aim is to provide poverty alleviation assistance to those in need.

Youth empowerment and Entrepreneurship

Empowering people with skills they can use to gain employment or start their own businesses is the longest term and sustainable solution to breaking the cycle of poverty. We offer a range of courses designed to empower people with the knowledge and skills to begin earning an income, either in the formal sector or as budding entrepreneurs in their own communities.
